Of the 500 Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG Grand Editions ever built, this is number 001 — the first car of the most exclusive limited run of this W463 generation. The Grand Edition was Mercedes-AMG’s farewell to an icon: full designo interior, edition badging, and the hand-built M113K supercharged V8 at its peak. Number 001 is where that story starts.

G55K sourced this car through our own international search and took it through our complete ground-up build. It was stripped to the bare shell. Every panel, every bushing, and every line of wiring was assessed and renewed or rebuilt. The M113K — the engine that made the G55 a legend — was rebuilt to exceed original factory tolerances. Nothing was repaired halfway; nothing was left to age.

The result: a Grand Edition #001 in essentially new condition, with 10 miles since build completion. US specification and completely road legal in all 50 states. Finished to a standard no original ever met, and covered by our two-year warranty.
